I promote a balanced nutrient dense health-promoting diet (whole food, plant-based) based on the clients’ nutritional needs and goals. My goal is to assist and educate you, so you can make dietary changes that can be used throughout your lifetime to maintain optimal health. I can help you make the transition to a plant-based diet and lifestyle.

Consulting sessions include defining client’s health goals, health issues to address with diet, assess current diet, creating customized meal plans with recipes, how to prepare delicious healthy meals quickly & easily, create a food grocery list for the recipes provided, I educate you about the healing power of food. Also, I will provide you the support you need and any other resources required throughout this process. Working together, we will map out a plan that works for you with a step-by-step approach. As you take each step, you will become healthier and you’ll be on your way to transforming into your best, healthiest self!

What’s in your Nutrition Program?
First one-hour and a half session is an initial strategy session, in it we will:

  • Discuss your short-term and long-term health goals and objectives
  • Review your health history and current diet
  • Discuss any health concerns or issues and how they will be addressed with nutrition or you may just want to push yourself to the next level of health and wellness, but find you can’t get there alone
  • I will describe the health benefits of a plant-based diet (based on scientific evidence and research) specific to your health goal(s) and the expected results you will experience during and after Quick-Start program
  • Give you a list of action items and preparation tips for the first week of the program and supportive program materials including your own customized notebook with all the materials below that we discuss in the session:
    • Program principles and guidelines
    • Basic nutrition principles, nutrients in plant foods and body metabolism
    • How to prepare for success in your nutrition program
    • Recommendations for eating out
    • Grocery shopping list for plant-based recipes
    • Food staples for plant-based program
    • How to read food labels
    • 14-Day Meal Plan with recipes
    • List of resources and tools to continue on your healthy, stronger journey

Second one-hour session we will review your progress so far and challenges you have encountered along the way. We will:

  • Measure and track your progress, i.e., weight, post program biomarkers (if completed) and any other measureable goals identified in your program at the onset
  • Review Diet Analysis (if one was requested)
  • Discuss overcoming fears such as social settings while adjusting to your new lifestyle and what are the best options to maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • Discuss any challenges you have experienced during the process
  • Evaluate your meal plan and any adjustments that need to made
  • How to move forward with confidence

If you want further support and accountability I will be there to assist you in any way I can! This can be just as simple as adding additional services to support and help through the transition, such as:

  • In-home cooking class or classes where we prepare meals In-home cooking class or classes where we prepare meals together or invite a group of friends or family for an evening of fun and healthy and delicious food – The cost is flat fee $150 for 2-4 people or $ 250 for more than 4 for approximately  2-3 hours
  • Grocery shopping tour and food label reading: learn how to shop for those healthy items and know what the food labels really mean!
  • Additional counseling monitoring your progress focusing on a specific health issue or goal
  • Spend an evening dining out at a restaurant and learn how to maintain your healthy lifestyle in restaurants and certain social settings. Learn to select the most nutritious items on the menu plus practical breakfast, lunch, and dinner suggestions when dining out.

I offer face-to-face consultations, public health seminars and workshops, and even remote communication to help you achieve your goals.
